Free Scrapbooking Ideas – A Simple Scrapbook’s Fundamentals!
You may have heard of simple scrapbooking and may even have an idea about it. However, what is simple scrap booking and what exactly are the components that give it this name?
A simple scrapbook does not rely on chronological events and doesn’t focus on the normal family traditions, hopes, dreams and daily routines. It is something outside these traditional album things and is more manageable. It focuses mainly on the sidelights and smaller details that are usually shadowed by other bigger things. The scrapbook stores memories of bigger things, where the simple scrapbook stores the situations, the things that happened before and after a picture was taken.
Five items that aptly describe a simple scrapbook are Fast, Finished, Format, Freedom and Framework.
Freedom: In making a simple scrap book, the liberty given to the creator for making the events included in the scrapbook simpler is called freedom. The freedom given to him or her to explore the use of things that are not traditional, other aspects and memories of life, and also for capturing the things that cannot be seen in a normal scrapbook and last but not the least, the freedom to create a scrapbook that exactly fits his or her ideas.
Format: It describes the uniqueness of the scrap book from the rest. Each scrapbook, in some way, follows a format. In other words, a simple scrapbook will have contents and size of the normal scrapbook, however, has a completely different approach, which makes it stand out from the rest.
It sets a scheme of colors and the theme of the scrapbook. The designs and colors used may be of the same components which will make a simple scrapbook a piece of art work. Also, the arrangement of elements will make a large impact on the total image of the scrap book.
Framework: It is a characteristic of a simple scrap book which is completely unique. It is defined a bunch of pages, including contents and title, introduction or dedication page, filler pages, section page, closing page and the material file which will show the overall structure and design of the scrapbook. Mostly, the first thing defined will determine the flow of other elements in the scrapbook and album. In simple words, the framework is the foundation and blueprint of the album.
An other characteristic is that once started, a simple scrapbook will indeed be finished, unlike the usual album that once started may be abandoned easily before completion in the chronological order. Things like inavailability of space will reduce the enthusiasm and finally the album will be abandoned. However, in a simple scrap book you can give yourself assurance that after starting, you will indeed finish it. The reason is that you will be working on a particular framework which is made specifically so that it can be completed. As you’re working on such a frame, you will know how much you can use it and the number of pages that will be used for it. After fulfilling this, you will almost be done with your album.
The time taken for the creation of a chronological scrapbook is very high and it may be left unfinished too. A simple scrap book is different. It can be completed as soon as it is started and it is less time consuming. This is also the result of following a framework. Strictly speaking, once the framework is done, you are finished with the album to about ninety percent.
If you have set your mind on creating a simple scrapbook, you ought to do three things.
Primarily, you must identify the purpose of your scrapbook. Ask yourself the question,
Why is this being done by me and what emotions are going to be included in the album?
Then, create the format of your scrapbook. Determine the album’s size and theme that will be used. Organize your ideas and then put them on the paper and finally create the framework.
Finally, prepare the materials that will be used.
Once all these are done, you will be able to easily create your simple scrap book and fulfill your dreams.

Where Can I Get Simple Ideas For Scrapbooking?
I’m only 14 yrs, old and i found websites that has many scrapbook examples and only a few i find helpful because many of them are too complicated
