scrapbooking projects for kids
Im doing a community serv.project and have 2find ways 2make a towns history fun for elementary kids.Any ideas?

I have to be able to put the activites in a box (the size of a scrapbooking box)…some things ive already odne is a small brief history, crossword puzzle, and word search….kinda boring though.

Add items to the box that represent big events in the town’s history (such as small flags to represent the first 4th of July parade, play money to represent the first bank in town, etc.) then add facts on pieces of paper (such as the first 4th of July parade in our town was in 1893…or whatever) and let them match the facts to the items.
Reproduce old pictures of your town (streets, buildings, etc.) and put them in the boxes. Let the kids try to figure out where the pictures were taken….Main Street?…..down by the river?….you get the idea. :-)

If you are like me, I hate those moments when I have to do a page but just ran out of ideas! this is when sketches really become useful.
